Founded in 1991, Lawfirm Lejuez has accumulated almost 40 years of experience in different fields of Aruban and International law handling routine and very complex matters for our local and international clients in numerous practice areas.
The firm is headquartered in Aruba, Dutch Caribbean. Our attorneys are licensed to practice in the jurisdictions of Aruba, Curacao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba.
Mrs. Carol Helen Lejuez
Mrs. Lejuez graduated from the University of the Netherlands Antilles in 1983. Mrs. Lejuez has had a distinguished professional career, which includes being the first female prosecutor and chief prosecutor as well as having been Deputy Attorney General for Aruba and the Netherlands Antilles.
Mrs. Lejuez was also appointed as a deputy judge in the Court of First Instance of Aruba. Mrs. Lejuez has developed a particular expertise in complex and white collar crime matters in Aruba. and has a very large experience in the criminal field.
Post Academic
Mrs. Lejuez has taken numerous post-academic courses and has been asked to speak at multiple local and international events, such as the State Bar of Texas and served as a member on the PanelBar of New Jersey.
Mrs. Lejuez has represented Aruba in numerous meetings of the United Nations in Europe, North America and Mexico and has also assisted in organizing HONLEA and Money Laundering meetings in Aruba and has served on the Board of several foundations in Aruba.- Fluent in Dutch - The official Language of Aruba.
